System and method to estimate region of tissue activation

US Patent 10,360,511
July 23, 2019
A computer-implemented method for determining the volume of activation of neural tissue. In one embodiment, the method uses one or more parametric equations that define a volume of activation, wherein the parameters for the one or more parametric equations are given as a function of an input vector that includes stimulation parameters. After receiving input data that includes values for the stimulation parameters and defining the input vector using the input data, the input vector is applied to the function to obtain the parameters for the one or more parametric equations. The parametric equation is solved to obtain a calculated volume of activation

Three-dimensional (3D) object manufacturing systems and methods are operable to manufacture printed 3D objects corresponding to user-selected physical objects of interest shown in a media content event that have been viewed by a user, wherein at least one 3D printer that is accessible by the user of the media device is operable to manufacture the printed 3D object corresponding to the viewed physical object of interest.

Systems, devices, and methods for electrical stimulation using feedback to adjust stimulation parameters

US Patent 10,357,657
July 23, 2019
An electrical stimulation system includes a control module that provides electrical stimulation signals to an electrical stimulation lead coupled to the control module for stimulation of patient tissue. The system also includes a sensor to be disposed on or within the body of the patient and to measure a biosignal; and a processor to communicate with the sensor to receive the biosignal and to generate an adjustment to one or more of the stimulation parameters based on the biosignal. The adjustment can be configured and arranged to steer the electrical stimulation signals to stimulate a region of the patient tissue that is different, at least in part, from a region of the patient tissue stimulated prior to the adjustment. Alternatively or additionally, the biosignal is indicative of a particular patient activity and the adjustment is a pre-determined adjustment selected for the particular patient activity.

Rack for various items

US Patent 10,357,106
July 23, 2019
A method and apparatus are disclosed for providing a coat rack, a shoe rack and a tool rack all modified from a staple commodity of construction commerce such as polyvinylchloride piping. Methods for modifying this construction material for a specific use as one of the various types of racks is disclosed along with the tools and techniques necessary for such modifications.

Systems, methods, and visualization tools for stimulation and sensing of neural systems with system-level interaction models

US Patent 10,350,413
July 16, 2019
A computer implemented system and method generates a patient-specific model of patient response to stimulation on a neural element basis, receives user-input of target neuromodulation sites, and, based on the patient-specific model, determines which stimulation paradigm and settings, including stimulation sites, would result in the target neuromodulation, where the stimulation sites are not necessarily the same as the resulting neuromodulation sites. The system outputs a visual representation of the stimulation sites that would result in the target neuromodulation. The system monitors a system state and/or patient state and dynamically changes which stimulation program to implement based on the state.

Systems and methods for visualizing and directing stimulation of neural elements

US Patent 10,350,404
July 16, 2019
Method and systems for determining a set of stimulation parameters for an implantable stimulation device include receiving a set of stimulation parameters including at least one electrode for delivery of stimulation and a stimulation amplitude for each electrode; determining, using the set of stimulation parameters, an axial stimulation field for neural elements oriented axially with respect to a longitudinal axis of the lead; and outputting the first axial stimulation field for viewing by a user; receiving, by the computer processor. The methods and systems can be used to model other neural elements oriented non-orthogonally with respect to the longitudinal axis of the lead and determine a non-orthogonal stimulation field.

Apparatus, systems and methods for identifying particular media content event of interest that is being received in a stream of media content

US Patent 10,348,426
July 9, 2019
Obscuring systems and methods are operable to obscure an intervening content segment that a user does not wish to view and/or listen to if that particular intervening content segment is again received at a later time. An exemplary embodiment includes at least a content segment obscuring system that samples the decoded stream of information corresponding to an initial portion of the intervening content segment, determines a vector signature of the sampled initial portion of the intervening content segment, wherein the vector signature corresponds to at least one location and an orientation of a vector in a multi-dimensional vector space, and compares the vector signature with a plurality of predefined reference vector signatures. In response to the vector signature substantially corresponding to at least one of the plurality of predefined reference vector signatures, the intervening content segment is obscured with replacement content.

US Patent 10,347,088
July 9, 2019
Systems, methods, and devices for playing and managing a card game are described. The card game is known as "Pick Poker" and incorporates elements of traditional poker with that of paramutual wagering. A pool of common Community Cards are dealt, and players select their preferred starting hand from that pool of Community Cards. Subsequently, a pool of common Replacement Cards are dealt, and players complete a 5 card poker hand from the Replacement Cards. Each player's final poker hand consists of the cards they chose from the Community Cards in addition to cards selected from the Replacement Cards. Players with the best hand (as determined by the rules of the game) are awarded a at least some of the pot. In some versions, multiple players each having the best hand obtain equal shares of the pot.
