Resynchronization of passive monitoring of a flow based on hole detection

Embodiments are directed towards resynchronizing the processing of a monitored flow based on hole detection. A network monitoring device (NMD) may be employed to passively monitor flows of packets for a session between endpoints. The NMD may receive copies of the monitored flow and perform processes on the monitored flow. In some situations, some copies of packets may not be fully processed by the NMD, creating a hole in the processing. If a hole is detected in the monitored flow and the processing of the monitored flow is desynchronized, then the NMD may suspend processing until it is resynchronized or for a remainder of the session. If the processing is desynchronized, then the NMD may resynchronize the processing by resuming the processing of the monitored flow at a downstream position of the monitored flow based on the detected hole.

A cover is configured to be attached to the base to generally enclose the carrier, thereby protecting the baked goods for transport or storage. Described herein are rotary transformers for coupling signals between components that rotate relative to one another. In an exemplary embodiment, a rotary transformer comprises a rotary shaft, a first magnetic core on the rotary shaft, and a first winding wound around the first magnetic core. The rotary transformer farther comprises a hollow second magnetic core, and a second winding wound along the inner wall of the second magnetic core. During operation, the first winding on the rotary shaft rotates within the second winding with the magnetic cores magnetically coupling signals between the two windings. Also, the first and second windings are closely spaced to provide capacitive coupling between the windings that extends the frequency response of the transformer. In one embodiment, the windings comprises substantially flat conductors wound in the shape of the windings. In another embodiment, each of the windings comprises circular loops connected by jogs.

A media content delivery system and method is operable to communicate an authorized single media content stream generated by a local programming provider (LPP) in a domestic market area (DMA) to a client facility, wherein the authorized single media content stream is multiplexed into a multi-media content stream with a plurality of other single media content streams generated by a plurality of other LPPS in the DMA. An exemplary embodiment identifies an authorized single media content stream of interest to a client; accesses the multi-media content stream communicated from a communication network at the client facility, unbundles the authorized single media content stream from the received multi-media content stream, and communicates the authorized single media content stream to a program content generation system operated by the client.

Systems and methods are operable to concurrently present images on a small display of a mobile media device and a large display of a media presentation system. An exemplary method receives emulated information from a mobile media device, wherein the emulated information corresponds to at least one image that is being currently presented on a display of the mobile media device; generates at least one image based upon the received emulated information, wherein the at least one image is configured for presentation on a display of a media system; and communicates the at least one image to a display of the media system. The image presented on the display of the media system is substantially the same image presented on the display of the mobile media device. The image presented on the display of the media system is substantially larger than the image presented on the display of the mobile media device.

Trousers and methods for reducing muscle fatigue, and overcoming range of motion restrictions in the legs caused by the friction created by trouser legs rubbing against the knee portion of a person’s leg when they are moving are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the trousers and methods use (1) an engineered dart in the mid-thigh region of the trouser, or (2) a zipper to decrease the vertical linear fabric surface in the mid-thigh region of the trouser such that the resulting tension causes the trouser fabric in the knee region to lift out and away from the knee portion of the wear’s leg, thusly eliminating or greatly reducing contact between the trouser leg and the wearer’s knee and the resulting strain.
