The disclosure relates to a device for producing cut objects. A dye-sublimation thermal printer prints a printing pattern onto a printing substrate and outputs the latter. A cutting apparatus cuts the printing substrate along a cutting pattern, wherein the cutting apparatus comprises a cutting unit and a moving unit for moving the printing substrate during cutting. The dye-sublimation thermal printer is adapted to print the printing substrate in such a way that the outputted printing substrate has a printed area in which printing has occurred and a non-printed area in which printing has not occurred, wherein the printed area and the non-printed area are successively arranged and the dimension of the non-printed area in the arrangement direction is at least equal to a distance between the cutting unit and the first moving unit.

Distally reinforced lead and methods of making and using

US Patent 10,179,234
January 15, 2019
An electrical stimulation lead includes a lead body that defines a central lumen extending along the longitudinal length of the lead body. The stimulation lead includes electrodes disposed along the distal end of the lead body, terminals disposed along the proximal end of the lead body, and conductors. Each conductor electrically couples at least one of the electrodes to at least one of the terminals. The stimulation lead also includes a tubular reinforcing member disposed in the central lumen of the lead body within a portion of the distal end of the lead body or at least one reinforcing member disposed upon the distal end of the lead body proximal of the plurality of electrodes. The reinforcing member stiffens a portion of the distal end of the lead body.

Dropseat waders and suspension system

US Patent 10,178,883
January 15, 2019
A trouser garment is disclosed. The trouser garment may be a fishing wader. The garment includes a quick-release dropseat to enhance the ease of personal relief, such as a WC break, without completely removing the garment. The garment may include a trouser portion, a bib portion, and a suspension system. A posterior support strap is threaded through a guide, such as a loop, to aid in the mating two ends of a quick-release dropseat buckle. The posterior support strap is coupled to left and right shoulder straps to form the suspension system. The guide and one end of the dropseat buckle are positioned on a posterior surface of the garment. The garment may include cam buckles to enable the adjustment of the left and right shoulder straps and the height of the bib portion. The garment may be worn as a full bib or as a pant.

Apparatus, systems and methods for adjusting output audio volume based on user location

US Patent 10,178,492
January 8, 2019
Systems and methods are operable to adjust an output audio volume level of presented audio content that is output as sound from one or more speakers in a media presentation environment. An exemplary embodiment detects movement of a user who is listening to the audio content; increases the output audio volume level when the detected user movement is away from a predefined location in the media presentation environment; and decreases the output audio volume level when the detected user movement is closer to the predefined location in the media presentation environment.

Apparatus, systems and methods for synchronization of multiple headsets

US Patent 10,178,345
January 8, 2019
Media device systems and methods synchronize video content with audio content presented by a plurality of wireless audio headsets. In an exemplary embodiment, a first time delay corresponds to a first duration of time between communication of the audio content from the media device and presentation of the audio content by a first wireless audio headset. A second time delay corresponds to a second duration of time between communication of the audio content from the media device and presentation of the audio content by a second wireless audio headset, wherein the first time delay is greater than the second time delay. Video content communicated to a display is delayed by the first time delay. Audio content communicated to the second wireless audio headset is delayed by a time delay difference between the first time delay and the second time delay.

Performing actions via devices that establish a secure, private network

US Patent 10,178,133
January 8, 2019
Embodiments are directed towards, gateway computers and management platform server computers for managing secure communication over a network. Gateway computer may intercept communications from unauthenticated source node computers directed to target node computers. If the unauthenticated node computer provides its credentials in response to a request for credentials from the gateway computer, the credentials and the intercepted communications may be provided to a management platform server for further processing. The management platform server may authenticate the unauthenticated source node computer based on its credentials and the intercepted communication and the management platform server may determine a target gateway computer that corresponds to the target node computer based on content of the intercepted communication. The management platform server may provide configuration information for generating a secure private network connection between the gateway computer and the target gateway computer.

Domain reputation evaluation process and method

US Patent 10,178,121
January 8, 2019
A system for the identification and subsequent rating of domains based on a result derived from a proprietary algorithm configured to detect when a new domain is registered, correlate the domain to registrant data, cross-check the data based on domain proximity to known-malignity, and output a proximity score employed to convey the potential for malicious content or intentions available or to be served as content accessible via the domain. The system is equipped with a dynamic domain database configured to provide near-real-time domain registration data across all domain extensions, facilitating the detection and scoring of new domains as soon as practicable after their inception. Domains are routinely re-evaluated for score consistency, helping to better maintain the security of visitors to websites hosted, or automated connections to infrastructure present on the domain.

System providing inductive transmission of power and data through a permeable conductive barrier layer

US Patent 10,177,608
January 8, 2019
A wireless power transmission system is designed to transmit power through a permeable conductive barrier layer. The system comprises a power transmitting circuit including a first inductive coil. A power receiving circuit includes a second inductive coil located on the opposite side of the barrier layer to the first inductive coil. A biasing magnet or electromagnet is provided and characterised by its ability to substantially saturate the magnetisation of the barrier layer in a region adjacent to the first and second inductive coils.

Cellular core composite leading and trailing edges

US Patent 10,173,789
January 8, 2019
A complex-shaped, three-dimensional fiber reinforced composite trailing edge structure may be formed by using counteracting pressures applied to a structural lay-up of wetted fibers placed onto pressurizable members to form continuous fore and aft loops. In turn, the loops may be structurally functional to transfer loads from the trailing edge structure to a wing center section. The trailing structure may include may include fillers and/or a metallic insert, wherein the metallic insert may provide a lightening strike capability for the trailing edge structure.
