Cipher rule feedback

US Patent 10,432,406
October 1, 2019
Abstract
Embodiments are directed towards managing network communication. A TMC may be arranged to receive network traffic that includes cipher negotiation information from a client computer. The TMC may receive other network traffic from a server computer that may include server cipher negotiation information. The TMC provides negotiation data that may correspond to the client cipher negotiation information and other negotiation data that may correspond to the server cipher negotiation information. The TMC may store the negotiation data and the other negotiation data in a data store. Then TMC may send the server cipher negotiation information at least the client computer. If a query is received from a query client, the TMC may provide result set information based on the stored the negotiation data and the other negotiation data in the data store. The TMC may send the reporting information based on the result set information to the query client.

Top-loading mounting track for receiving a mount assembly

US Patent 10,429,002
October 1, 2019
top-loading mounting track includes a top-loading track section with a base; two beams extending over a portion of the base; and two rails extending opposite each other from the base and connecting the base to the beams. The beams are laterally spaced apart from each other by a first distance. Each rail includes an inner rail wall defining a shoulder portion; an insertion-pocket portion; and an angled guide-surface portion. The insertion-pocket portions are laterally spaced apart from each other by a second distance that is larger than the first distance. The track section can receive a retention element of a mount assembly, where the retention element has a smallest lateral dimension greater than the first distance. The track section can receive the retention element by passing the retention element between the beams with the retention element angled toward one of the insertion-pocket portions.

Communication of wireless signals through physical barriers

US Patent 10,425,905
September 24, 2019
A system for transmitting and receiving wireless signals through a physical barrier, such as walls or windows, to wireless computing devices that are located internal to a structure that is formed in part by the physical barrier. The wireless signals are millimeter waveforms with gigahertz frequencies that are communicated with 5G communication protocols by one or more remote base station nodes located external to the physical barrier. One or more external antennas are configured to communicate RF wireless signals with HMA waveforms to remote wireless base station. In one or more embodiments, the RF wireless signals are amplified and communicated bi-statically through the window barrier between customer premises equipment and an authorized remote wireless base station.

Methods and systems for processing documents using multiple halftone screening techniques

US Patent 10,425,558
September 24, 2019
A method of processing a document for printing includes receiving a document; for at least one of the plurality of regions, determining a drop size for that region and determining whether the drop size for printing the region meets a threshold criterion and, if so, processing the region using a tile-based screen for halftoning and, if not, processing the region using an error diffusion screen for halftoning; and printing the processed regions. Another method includes additionally considering coverage level to determine whether to use a tile-based screen or error diffusion screen. Yet another method includes determining whether the region is within a threshold range of a drop step change.

Device and method for effective invasive neurostimulation by means of varying stimulus sequences

US Patent 10,420,944
September 24, 2019
A device is provided for stimulating neurons that includes an implantable stimulation unit that generates stimuli in multiple stimulation elements. The stimulation unit generates the stimuli to stimulate a neuron population in the brain and/or spinal cord of a patient using the stimulation elements. Moreover, the device includes a control unit that controls the stimulation unit to repeatedly generates sequences of the stimuli with the order of the stimulation elements in which stimuli are generated within a sequence being constant for 20 or more successively generated sequences before it is varied.

Systems and methods for distributing content in a vehicle-based wireless network

US Patent 10,420,013
September 17, 2019
Techniques for distributing content to mobile computing devices, such as in the context of a vehicle-based wireless network, are described. In some examples, a content provider uses a cellular network to initially transmit a content item to a multi-network communication device in a first vehicle. The first vehicle device then uses a local Wi-Fi network to further transmit randomly selected portions of the content item to devices on nearby vehicles, which may also further propagate the content item portions to other vehicles. Vehicle devices may also specifically request content portions by broadcasting requests to neighboring vehicle devices via local Wi-Fi communication and/or communicating with the content provider via the cellular network. Upon the occurrence of a condition, such as a passage of time, the content provider may also initiate communication with devices in the network in order to assure complete distribution of the content item.

Ad-hoc dynamic capture of an immersive virtual reality experience

US Patent 10,419,716
September 17, 2019
Methods, systems, and techniques for projecting streamed video are provided. An Example Surround Video Projection System (SVPS) provides support for interacting with the displayed virtual reality environment, capturing a video of a user in the VR environment, and displaying the VR environment on deformations. Also, the SVPS may change the displayed VR environment responsive to attributes and/or characteristics of the user. In one example, the SVPS comprises a real time, interactive rendering system, a display system, and one or more display units. The rendering system comprises a high resolution graphics engine capable of generating high resolution video. The projection system comprises video capture cards to capture the generated video stream and forward it to a projection mapping engine. The projection mapping engine consolidates and stitches together the received video stream as appropriate to render the video stream over display units to the target viewing environment such as a dome/sphere.

US Patent 10,419,636
September 17, 2019
Information can be encoded into text of a printable document or other printed material. The text includes glyphs, where each glyph corresponds to a text character. Additional information can be encoded into the text by altering one or more of the glyphs to change a shape of the one or more of the glyphs, so that each of the altered glyphs still corresponds to the text character to which the glyph corresponded prior to alteration and the altered glyph further contains a portion of the additional information encoded by the changed shape.
